I never knew or thought about hair on my dogs paws. We have short haired dogs, so grooming has never been an issue we had to deal with. We live on a farm and my two dogs that are mainly outside keep their nails short. I guess between the asphalt and running free on tons of acres, they’ve kept them filed down. It wasn’t till recently that we got a dachshund that I had to start clipping her nails. She doesn’t have a hair problem on her paws. I saw the commercial and went to check all their paws. I realized I needed to try this. When I received it, nicely packaged in its own pouch, which included the trimmer, a small cleaning brush to clean hair from the blades, oil, extra set of trimmer heads. It all fit nicely in the pouch. So I tried it on my Rottweiler/Lab mix. He wasn’t bothered by it at all. The noise level was hardly noticeable and didn’t bother him at all. I used it on both of my dogs (other being a Blue Heeler) and the battery was still strong. It was very easy to use, I just took my time as I had never done this before. The trimmer quality is very well made and I was able to rinse it under the water when finished. It was money well spent and as I’ve had no problems, I will edit if something happens which I’m not expecting. I’ve even noticed the dogs quite licking their paws. Thank you!

Worked better than I thought ! At first my dogs were a little skirmish because of past experiences with regular clippers around their toe beans but holy smokes, look at the pics. This is my 13 year old cocker who never lets me touch his feet. Only pedicure he has had in his lifetime and it’s because of this product.

I’m glad I finally bought it! It really works, I’d buy it again or give as a gift!

This is a small and very gentle electric trimmer. I like the design as the bottom is the metal blades and is stationary, and the top is plastic and the part that moves and pushes the hairs across the blades. This seems to make it much less likely to cause cuts and makes it safer. This is ideal for shaving and trimming small areas, perhaps a few square inches, but it would take a lot of time for larger areas with this. It's not a very precise trimmer for small hairs, but for a general trimming in small places it's perfect. I like that it has USB C charging, that's convenient.
